Title: Wargames Factory WSS Cavalry
Post by: Calimero on August 20, 2011, 12:42:11 AM

Images of the forthcoming WSS Cavalry are on the Wargames Factory’s site…

For once, they don’t look too bad… the horses especially show a great improvement since the release of the Roman cavalry…

I got to admit that I thought that you had posted this in the wrong section, since WSS Cavalry made me think it was Florian Gayer :D

Hi Calimero,

maybe this page helps you. Just have a look at the WSS panting guides. Than use >click here< and you will come to the part where you see Infantry/ Mounted Troops/ Artillery. Just click here and you see the uniforms.

This site may be better than nothing:

But some of the best uniform info available is from the CD sets from Robert Hall, Claus-Peter Goldberg, Gianncarlo Boeri, Jean Belaube, Dann Schorr and others. Those CD sets can probably be bought from the online bookstore under "Marlburian":

A few nice images here:

And the Vinkhuijzen Military Uniform Collection at the New York Public Library digital collections is useful:

Thanks both for the links but I’m pretty much set as for reference for the period (I think…)

In my first post, I was referring to the first few  times I’ve tried to look for info on WSS Cavalry and Infantry on the net. Anyhow, it couldn’t hurt to provide these links so newcomer get a place to start 8)
