Title: 15mm Zombie Outbreak
Post by: Rob_bresnen on August 28, 2011, 04:45:40 PM
A couple of weeks ago, while serching for 15mm WW2 stuff, I happerned upon the Rebel Miniatures website- an discovered 15mm modern zombies!

Being a big fan of zombies I have always wanted to do a hoard of zeds, but have never found the money or time to make it a realistic proposition. That's all changed now, with 22 zombies for just $12 how could I say no?

on a whim I placed an order, and was delighted when they arived from the US within the week (and just $5 for psotage too). They are superb models, given their tiny stature.

Here a few photos of my growing hoard. I am not used to painting 15mm figures and I think I put too much wash on the first few, but I started to get the hang of it later. I will remind you, before you comment on my dodgy paint jobs that these are 15mm figures.

Sorry about the photography too- these little fellas are so tiny they are a bugger to photo.

What follows is a photograhic study of the outbreak of a Zed-Contagion in a small American city.

The Z-contagion outbreak was in a mall in the cneter of the city. early victimes were a mall rat, a worker in a fast food resterant and the owner of a hair braiding salon

As is often the case, the emergency services were first on the scene, and amongst the earliet victims. Seen here- a Mall security guard and a firefighter

The contagion soon spread to campus, infecting the students there.

The city's 'red-light district' rapidly fell to the contagion.

Eventually the infection spread to the suburbs, effecting 'ordinary' American housholds like this one.
