Now that sounds like a nice visit. I like that scenario and I think it's a great way of introducing the kid to some REAL wargaming... ;)

;) WWII using IABSM is great stuff! I hope your nephew is now an addict!

Excellent AAR. Nice to see young converts to the best way to game. ;)

Great idea, get them when they are young, then brain wash them. lol Game looks like alot of fun.

Lucky to know kids who have the patience! I know far too many youngsters who are hyped up on sugar, are attracted to bright flashy video games like Moths are to bright lights (I was like this too once, I admit!) who get bored of a miniatures wargame as soon as their turn ends! I would personally vouch for miniatures war games being far better than the vast majority of stuff available on a console. Unfortunately most of the younglings around here would disagree!
Good job!

Well written!

I had noticed he was getting a bit bored creeping forward and spotting unsuccesfully. Which is why I rolled out the King Tiger.... :D

Sneaky, but in a very very large kind of way if you know what I mean :D

I figure I broke my King Tiger's 'new unit curse' in a Good Cause.
So next time, when they face a horde of T34s or Patton's armoured divisions they might actually fight somewhat respectably! :)
