Title: A White Army of sorts
Post by: Vanvlak on November 18, 2007, 09:23:34 PM
Well, the first model of my first army of this sort. This is my economy class White Russian Army. I wanted a White (and later, a Red) army for Triumph and Tragedy type occasions, and this meant 12-30ish models. Now I have a pile of boxes of stuff, with very few historicals. So my poor old 40K and fantasy and any other model types are going to find themselves enrolled in a very particular army.
Well, the White Russian Army has some 'Czech' snipers. Oh dear, they are a bit short.... fun to paint though.

I left the IG badge, and painted the skull red and the wings white: a winged white sniper buller for thick red skulls....  :?

Here's the rosy cheek to port of this chap. The white marks on the black pole are chalk marks indicating his hits.

And the last pic - you can see my hand, the bathroom mirror, a towel, and the mysterious black pole. Including an oar as scenery has become a sort of trademark since i visited Venice.

Next up - his mates.
