Title: German sailors by Askari Miniatures

I'm curious if anyone has purchased the new German sailors in sun helmets by Askari.  If so, how do they compare to Brigade Games German sailors for the Great War in Africa.  Since Brigade does not issue sailors in sun helmets, I have an interest in purchasing the Askari brand to blend in with the sailors I already have.

Just wanted to update my question.  Ordered and received the Askari Miniatures German sailors in sun helmets and found them to be a good match with Brigade figures.  Will try to provide a comparison picture if my electronic "skills" can master it.

I once asked Mark Copplestone if he intended to add German sailors to his darkest Africa range, and he answered he'd most assuredly do so in the future. That must have been six or seven years ago.

If the sculpting is compatible with Copplestone, I may have a look at the Askari figures.

Arthur: I recall the announcement that Mark Copplestone was intending to add German sailors for Darkest Africa.  I was very satisfied with these Gerrman sailors, the detail may not equal Copplestone but personally I was quite happy.  I have Brigade sailors and will try to put a photo in soon with both to illustrate the comparison.

I haven´t seen them but unless they changed designer they will be very inferior to the Brigade Games...
