Title: Experimental Submarine
Post by: War In 15MM on October 22, 2011, 09:01:32 PM
Purchased at Swap Meet for $2.00; originally a Spiderman bathtub toy; I cut it to be waterline and added Milliput for water; painted it gray

It's floating on an old piece of indoor-outdoor carpet that is actually tan in color but seems to have picked up some brightness due to taking the picture outside.  Richard

You could always use the bottom half for a damaged version - floating upside down in the water  :D

Great!

 :-* :-*

I want one!
Any idea what it was originally called?
Or is that too much of a long shot?

Mason, I'll sorry.  When I cut the bottom off, I threw away any specific information I might have had.  All I know is that it was a Spiderman toy and was a battery powered bathtub toy.  Like all Spiderman stuff it was red and blue.  Probably not much help.  Richard

Do a google search for "Silverlit Radio Control Submarine"

The pics that I found look very similar to the nice looking sub at the start of this thread. But it doesn't mention anything about spiderman.

There is even a YouTube video about it:
