Nice bit of work there. :o
But he's on his own, does that mean his men have deserted? lol

Over the last week or so I saw blackberry Crumble................

I remember the time I gave a corporal in the Guards a bowl of rhubarb crumble.
I was charged...........
with helping a soldier to dessert.
Corporal in the Guards :o
Shume mistake shirley. Would have been either a Lance Sergeant (Wooden Tops) or Corporal of Horse (Tinned Fruit)

Out of the desert comes a man who would change the face of the Middle East.
He doesn't need an army, he is,
"Lawrence of Arabia."
Great painting, cool figure.

Very nicely done!

That must be the Chuck Norris version.............. :D

That is a great pair of figures, and the bases finish them off beautifully, with the rocks and close-cropped scruffy desert grass. Very, very nice!

See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arab_Revolt
I have been considering wargaming T.E Lawrence's Arab Revolt and the advantage is that most Arab miniatures can double up to also be used against French Foreign legion.
As I want aircraft, trains armoured cars and artillery I will be using 20mm / 1/72. I would like to therefore see more pics! I am curious as to what wargames you have done to accompany your Lawrence miniature and if so what rules you have used.

I don't wargame at the moment - haven't for some time but I like to paint up the figures now and again. I painted Lawrence because I have always been interested in the Arab revolt and recently read the Seven Pillars of Wisdom. I think it would make a great game - something like a raid on a railway station or maybe Aqaba would be a great set piece.
If you do go ahead and wargame it I'd love to see some photos.
