Title: Wars Of Roses Proyect (Im very sad)
Post by: Alex_Nay on November 01, 2011, 10:15:01 PM
I've started a new project, the war of the roses, I have relied on the rules for skirmishes "Lord of the Rings" but adapted to the times, (the fantasy does not really interest me much). I started with the Yorkist!

Excellent painting.  I love the WOTR concept, though it is brand new to me.  I plan on tackling it at some poitn when I am done with my modern project.

Here are the first updates to my project, men at arms, and a horn with the big boss in his black armor. I have to buy me a focus to make the pictures as I am not at all happy with them, this afternoon I'll try to get hold of one, many hours painting and then so sad to see these photos I lower the morale

I really like the way those blues and reds are coming out.  The brown paints are great too.  YOu area painting them up nicely, thanks for sharing.

Having painted lots of these recently, I can appreciate the work gone in.

I love the finish on the plate armour.

Thank you very much to all for your comments fill me encouragement to keep posting, because really, if not all of this does not make sense, it's weird how you spend your time a few seconds to put a little comment can do so much! I'll just say a while without posting because after two years of hard illness my father at last at peace, two years caring for him to end this dirty disease called "cancer" snatch me, I feel this bad news is not the place, but I had to vent a little ......  :'(

In a friendly forum like this one, such little breaches of etiquette are unimportant. My condolences to you!

Please accept my condolences. I lost my own father to a similar condition in August and understand how the smallest kindness can make a difference  :)

Alex -

having lost my father after a bravely fought delaying action four years ago, you have my deepest sympathy. Though we may never meet in person, know my thoughts are with you.
