I'm thinking of using these models to represent some sci-fi Germans and I was wondering if anyone could give me a quick summary of the quality of these models.
-
Haven't seen them yet but I will hazard a guess.......no ::)

Forgive the horrible, horrible image.
I actually like them, the special weapon grips are kind of odd though, and many gripe about the folds of the greatcoat. I use them as Tech Guard for 40K so the weapons you see aren't stock. I'm also using them as the basis for Brood Brothers in my genestealer cult. They're inexpensive, detail is much better than earlier WF attempts, and pretty much the only game in town for plastic sci-fi Germans.

Those look really good Dr Matthias, :o in fact. I've just ordered some parts for a test model off Bits & Kits so I'll know soon enough.

Anyway, if you want some good future wars Germy, i'dgo (and I've been gone) with the pig irons one! =) The wargames factory ones are nice, but too much old-style (which is odd for a new range,... but it is WF, after all!)

Used mine as Bauhaus ducal militia, so it shoud work ;)

They've been enhanced using bits of actual Warzone stuff, and my only recommandation would be to consider they may lack of variety in terms of postures, as ever with WF miniatures

i've to say, the heads are top quality... don't like the body, but the heads are great!

WF sent me a box when they messed up an order. The models are pretty good. They remind me of the old box of plastic Space Marines when GW launched Rouge Trader. Range of motion is about the same, detail is comparable, and they are just as affordable.
Snitchy sends.

I've considered the Pig Iron figures and I'll probably be buying some Kolony Militia at some point, it's just that as I'm doing these armies in both 15mm and 28mm (for large battles and skirmishes respectively), I want to get similar looking products and the WF shocktroopers are close enough to the Eureka Miniatures German-style soldiers to work.

I almost bought a box today at a Wargames Show.
I will probably get some some time to use as German Shock troops for my Secrets of the Third Reich game...

They're highly servicable and reward the sjillful modelelr. If I wanted cheap sci-fi Germans that's where I'd go.

The parts came yesterday and I built the test piece after getting in from work. I used the chainsword just because I had it (and I like chainswords), but whatever work I'm intending to write won't actually feature chainswords (so no one from GW can sue me). Anyway here's a rough and ready picture of the model:
