You say on your blog that they were 'a pain to paint' on  but the end result is seems worth it me.

An excellent set of cavalry.

They look great, I always like to see Calpe

I have only done a few vignettes of the command sets but I found Calpe to be some of the nicest figures I have ever had the pleasure to paint. Nearly enough to get me to do a Napoleonic force - nah!! ;D

Really happy with the end results myself. And I guess... Had I brokrn them into smaller lots, I would have been done in half the time! So it was by no means the minis fault, that they were a pain, but rather my approach.
