No, it's metal, white primed :) We just received the castings from the moulding company and wanted to release them as soon as possible. I will paint them as usual and post the pics of painted ones about 2-3 weeks later.

Excellent!

Tacha and I have a moratorium on buying figures for ourselves right before Christmas (and my birthday in early Jan), so I may have to wait a bit... but they will be mine!

While they are all excellent... the Archbishop is just what I needed!  :D

Is that an alternative head for the staff sitting next to the Archbishop?

Yes and it’s very easy to replace.

After consultation with Neotacha, we discovered that prezzie-wise bases were already covered, so there was no reason to delay ordering these most excellent figures.  So we didn't.  Delay, that is.

All of these are beautiful but the Warrior Priests are especially fine.

Any chance we'll see the Pikemen at Port or Charge positions?

We will see, I would like them too, but is up to the sales of the released landsknechts.

Also some attacking Sword & Buckler men would rock.

Yes, there are many things which rock we’d love to do. But as usual, to be able to do them we will first have to sell a lot of already released stuff. That is in the natural order of things :)

Bought them all. Must stop myself to order a second batch of troopers for a whole regiment... :)

Can we anticipate these being available for at least a year or more?  I would like to get a bunch in probably march or so next year.  Too much other stuff on the go right now!

No worries, we will be here and these miniatures too.

We collected our package from the P.O today, and as with previous LA miniatures these lads look even better in person!  I am impressed at how crisp and clean the castings are.  Next year I am going to try and be a good boy and paint more - not very productive this year.  The Bruegelburg figures and some of White Knight's dwarves are among my top priorities at this point.

Thanks for the Santa - he looks quite fun.

Okay, this is too much, I got to order these, they are to say the least fantastic and will fit right in to our Mordheim games. Really really nice miniatures.

I really like the look of these but the only problem is that I have never been keen on slotta bases.
The rest of the collection (the painted stuff) seem to be based otherwise.
Before I commit, please does anyone have suggestions about removal or a way to base them otherwise on 3mm mdf?

I guess removing the tab and pining them would be the best bet...it may be labor intensive but will allow the most flexibility.

they all are slotta based, the complete Bruegelburg range, the earlier releases as well. But because I don't like the slotta too, I've removed it and sticked the minis to the 5 cent coins using green stuff. As soon as i will spare some time to get painted the landsknechts I will do the same.
