Title: Rural Japanese hillside graveyard
Post by: OSHIROmodels on December 11, 2011, 02:25:34 PM
Carrying on with my Japanese terrain I've just recently finished a hillside graveyard using the grave set (well, a couple) from the catalogue.

There is a full write up on my blog but there are a couple of pictures here to whet your appetites  :)

Very nice. Trouble is I think my miniature Samurai would all stop on that terrain piece to compose soulful haiku upon the bittersweetness of life, mortality and cherry blossoms.  lol

Very atmospheric.

Another excellent terrain piece.
I looked around your site (again).
Lovely things, am kind of glad I sold all my samurai stuff years ago.
I am saving myself lots of money. lol

Nice,reminds of a Japanese film which I can't for the life of me remember the name of? About a village and an old lady,and although she does die in the end; she doesn't end up in the ground,but up a hill. This suggests to me that;

 Your graveyard is V. evocative :-*

             And

 I do talk a load of old bollocks sometime lol

Thanks muchly chaps  :) Greatly appreciated.

How about some picture of the full table to get the full affect?

I will over the Christmas holidays (our work shuts down for usually two weeks  ::) ) because I need to get a feel for it myself and see what else needs to be done.

cheers

James
