After seeing the nice movie recently I finally got to painting the good Captain...

IIRC its a Brigade Games Sailor - perfect stand in IMO, could be a bit taller when compared to the NOT Tim, but OK, for me...

This figure fits perfectly.
Size doesnt matter ;)

Size doesnt matter Wink
She was lying! lol

I think he turned out great as well.
I don't really worry too much about size when dealing with figures I plan to use in skirmish games unless its really out of scale - after all people come in all shapes and sizes.

IMO the Haddock sculpt is spot on, what was me worrying is that in almost all comic pages the Captain is a head taller than Tim, here he is a bit smaller...
-
You are right Agis and it`s a shame that the Haddock figure is smaller than the Copplestome Tim. But what counts is that you found the right figure for Haddock.

It's more that Copplestone' s Tintin is too big: he's the same size as the adults in the pack.

Lovely painting on a very apt figure!
Bravo!

It has been a few years since his last adventure. He is all grown up now!

Really nice Agis, they work fine for me

Great stuff Agis. Your PJs have really captured them well. And Snowy actually looks a bit menacing. Just right for jumping up and biting someone on the doodars.

But then where're his bellbottoms and moped? ;)

Great stuff. I have to get to see the movie. It might give some inspiration.
***Waiting on the new Sherlock Holmes for inspiration too!***
