Please notice, important change:
You may not enter your LPL6 registration pics before Monday 27 February, 19.00 pm GMT. Any earlier entries won't be accepted.
Looks like the previous date (12.00 noon) wasn't a good one. The most Europeans (me too) would still be at work and many of our American friends would be sleeping.

That's not too bad for us downunderers, I'd be up for work at 6.30am on that Tuesday am here anyway so I'll set the clock 1/2 an hour earlier then. Right nobody, I repeat, nobody mess with the international time zones between now and then lol

Same here. Sadly (or rather, normally luckily) 19.00 is the time that I am normally at home, which is an internet free environment. That is discounting the unprotected wifi from the neighbours, but that is so bad that sending pictures might prove problematic...
I will try to put them already as en an email send to myself, so I only have to forward, that I can probably do from my phone..

Okay... here is the tough part for old folks like me...
I am in Spain which is GMT +1. So that means (I think) that I need to take away one hour from local time to get GMT. So 1900 GMT would be 1800 local time.
Correct ???

Here's a handy thing to check to be sure. Can convert any time from any zone to any other:

Yes, that is interesting site and I looked it over. I "converted" from GMT to Europe - Madrid and this is what it says:

Which would indicate I subtract one hour in order to get GMT time... o_o

Indeed, send your entries at 20:00 local time (same as here in the Netherlands).

I made the same mistake, but even worse managed too read friday instead of monday... Guess I was too focussed on gettin the stuff done before the weekend... So I had alreadysend in my entries lol
Off course not long after sending, did I figure our my mistake... Aah well an entire weekend for bit more detailing and taking prettier pictures ;D

Oops! I was thinking I had until the 3rd March.
So been painting for the last 7 hrs, have now taken photo's and saved draft email for posting. If the weather is good tomorrow morning, will take more photo's in natural daylight as should be better.

You do, but if all 50 spots are filled before the 3rd of march you risk missing out on the registration, which is why everyone is in a hurry 8)

Seems I won't be able to make it in, what was supposed to be weekend in hospital is now going into day 8... and my pictures are on my home pc so I can't send them in.

I missed the last two, or is it three? And I don't recall the amount of time participants had from announcement to start. Perhaps it's less this time?
What I do know, as I'm not a fast painter, it was a struggle for me to get the three teams done in time...but I'm on a bit of a roll now. ;)

I'm surprised spots are still open. I came to the realization half way through my first masters course that there was no way that I was going to manage 10 new entries this year, so I thought that I'd leave the spot open for someone willing to make the attempt. Now come to find out that we might be *gasp* short entrants?
I dunno, I think I can do 5 if we really want to fill 50...
Although my wife will kill me...

I won't be able to make it in this year. This is one of the painting events of the year for me
but just having a newborn son of about 8 weeks old I'm gonna sit this one out at the sideline, holding him and pointing to all those freshly painted miniatures an saying:
"Look son, D@rth J@ymz is up against Chambersofminiatures this round and see that wacky conversion Froggy made!"
...aaaah yes, LPL-time...
