Title: Some 18mm Napoleonic French and Prussians....
Post by: colin_baillie on February 09, 2012, 04:04:04 PM
As a distraction from ongoing 15mm scifi project I decided to paint up a unit of Napoleonic Prussian Landwehr. I used a mix of AB and Warmodelling figures. These matched really well...

I ended up getting some French Line as well...

I've another few battalions in the painting queue now and I think I may struggle to get back to the scifi.

Nice painting on that scale! Are they based for a particular ruleset?

Nice work! I have some of the new Blue Moon Prussians to work on myself. If I was nit-picking I'd say your blues were too light, but I paint them that way myself. Sometimes visual impact trumps historical accuracy.

The blues do look really light in the pics, but I'm putting that down to the flash as the earth looks a lot lighter as well. I need a decent lamp for light so I can turn the flash off....  or maybe I need to stop painting in a badly lit room ::)
