Title: Laser Fuchs - wargaming laser pointer review
Post by: Anatoli on February 13, 2012, 11:08:56 AM
Best gaming aid ever imo as pretty much every wargame requires you to check LoS to and from units. This saves time and makes LoS super clear so that there is no argument whether you can see the edge of the enemy model or base.

More info and a little review on my blog. I also put up the 18% discount voucher that Maelstrom Game is using for their hobby supplies at the moment.

I bought the GW one that has a nice set of crosshairs as the laser targeter.

I know the GW one, but I wanted one that could do this (thus not endangering anyone's eyesight when pointing):

What do you mean? That I won't be able to cut my own MDF buildings with this thing? :'(

I was exercising restraint.

Not unless you tinker with it, and even then, I doubt you could burn through an MDF plate (at least not in an acceptable time)

I'd been meaning to acquire one of these for a while now, and your review tipped me over the edge: ordered.

And please don't use your Jedi mind tricks to review anything expensive in the near future.

lol Truly; this is one of those moments where the internet shows its utter lack of conveying sarcasm/humour in plain text.

Unless you were joking in return of course... ::)

Oh, I gathered as much, but I wasn't joking. there are several youtube clips on how to augment power on those things so you can set matches on fire, burn your name in wood and pop balloons.

I see. Well, I'll get that spare car battery out of the garage when it arrives then. Watch for a red light in the sky... :D
