Mission: Impossible is one of my favorite television shows. I'd love to find some decent look-a-likes for the main five IMF agents, Jim Phelps, Rollin, Cinnamon, Barney and Willie. I can probably come up with a nice Rollin and Cinnamon conversion be using the scientist heads from Crooked Dice. The real problem is going to be Barney. Finding a figure of a black man in sixties clothing that doesn't look like Shaft isn't as easy as one would think. Any ideas?

Foundry has lots of black characters in their street violence range, maybe there's a suitable miniature available there.

Rafm's 'Modern Day Heroes' line has a figure called 'Action Jackson' that might work, though the MDH figures tend towards the large side.

I took a second look at the Action Jackson miniature. It's actually not that bad. The afro isn't too large and the clothing isn't outlandish. If I carve out the side burns this should work well.

not seen the Action Jackson figure before must be a new release.
What about Copplestone KKBB Soul Section or Bad Guys in Suits from the Future war range,
Reapers Horice 'Action' Jackson

I've got the soul section. It's great for blaxploitation style games, but Barney Collier had a tight afro and little to no sideburns. Reaper's Horice 'Action' Jackson isn't quite right either. I do have to take another look through the Copplestope stuff though. Might find a really good Willie or Mr. Phelps there.
