The boy Slug has just finished this cracking little model, and I think the boy has done good.

I'm not a fan of those lipped bases, and in this case, I think it dwarfs the vehicle quite noticeably. That said, the actual base decor is great (love the muddy puddle and the bushes), the jeep itself is rather decent, and I like the dirt as well as the lettering on the bonnet in particular.

We went for the lipped base because it had a recess and wanted plenty of room for a reasonably worked base. Never used them before but have another for the Yank jeep he has lined up.

Not sold on the base.
Looks like the jeep is on a raft or rubber boat.

:o That was my fist thought exactly, only by taking a more intense look I realized that the boat is the base!

Otherwise nicely painted!!!  8)
