I wondered who would pick up on the names ;) The Sir Ronald figure is short so aptly named ;) lol
I couldn't find a shield with a teddy bear on it for Sir Roger lol
I painted the shields separately and added them last otherwise I would not have been able to paint the wood effect on.
-
Lovely work! :-*

Are these knights going to inhabit a town called St. Anthony by any chance? (Perhaps mainly composed of large adobe buildings with hastily added thatched roofs? ;))

I have discovered the use of spectacles and a large glass of Crabbies helps no end. ;)

The fact that it's quite nice is irrelevant.

Ah yes, you're an Angle then ;)
James is not angled, he's one long straight.

Loving them all up 'til now. Can't beat hand painted heraldry (I'm just like that you know lol).
What have you got planned for next?
Darrell.
-
James is not angled, he's one long straight.
Are we talking of the same James - you know, chubby northern chappie lol lol
Some Welsh mercenary bowmen and spearmen might be handy though - and any that don't make it wont need any pay ;)

Nice Job!
-
That is a very nice set of foot knights you have there; very bright colours that works very well, and some lovely freehand on the shields. Can't wait to see the rest of the army. C'mon, hurry up! ;)
-
C'mon, hurry up! ;)
Don't hold your breath... I will be at work today and tomorrow and then away for whats left of the bank holiday weekend at the outlaws, so no painting for me for a while... :'(
-
Man, those foot knights are some killer figures! :-*
I remember seeing some Foundry foot knights back in 2004 or so and I've been wanting some ever since.
But it'd all wind up somewhere over in Arthur land with a trojan rabbit if I ever went down this lane. No matter how good my
initial intentions were or how serious my beginnings would be. lol
-
