Title: Semi-official List Release: Freikorps and German Revolutionaries
Post by: Westfalia Chris on March 07, 2012, 02:11:42 PM
Hi all,

this thread is to be the first in hopefully a series that will feature "semi-official" lists which did not make their way into one of our print publications, or are not scheduled for future releases as of now.

This time, I present a PDF containing background information and a preconstructed unit army list for the German civil war of 1919-1920. The article contains rules for the Freikorps and the revolutionary forces that opposed them in the struggles following the Great War.

This army list may, at a later time, be published as part of an RCW/BoB rulebook in a revised form, but for the time being, we shall offer it as a free download, considering that there seems to be renewed interest in the period. As such, it is sort of a "work in progress", and if you wish to provide some feedback or have questions, feel free to post in this thread.

Also, you may notice that due to a lack of specific miniatures, I did not yet provide sample cards for the revolutionaries. I may revise this at a later time, and will upload updated versions of the file then. Furthermore, if you have ideas for addenda (such as the various Nationalist forces), feel free to post those ideas - as with most forces, you should be easily able to construct those using the basic rules, but if I can get better information, I'd be happy to write up a "list-style" addendum.

All the best

Chris, unfortunately cllicking on the PDF attachment the filename is going lost, so I've uploaded it to the server:

Ooh - thanks for this guys. Its something I've been interested in for a while and this might kick-start things.
This list is really nicely produced and I wasn't expecting the 'eye candy' in there too.

Great idea to make these lists available.
