well, that's nice! It has a very cartoonish look, i like the shape!
Is it casted in resin?
-
no it was casted in plaster.
-
I think it's a lovely little piece. I'm not sure how cartoonish it is, just looks old to me. Good work.
-
Thanx.

I was hoping for a more feminine subject, but this is nice too... ::)
I like it; I could do with a handful of those (as well :D )
-
Very nice! At first look I thought it looked like a bit too much metal...but when put in context with other scenery I think it looks great!
Cheers,
Blue

I like it, and would certainly use it if I had it! Well done!
-
Nicely done! :) keep it up. :)

Thank you all for your comments.

A desk.

Now that, sir, is very nice!
Very nice indeed.
:-*

The desk is superb and hard to believe made by the same hand. I think you should redo a chest more in the style of the desk. Very well done.

But it is, I've tried some different methods to represent wood.
Here is another one.

I definitely like that last one - whatever method you are using, I would say it is working.
-
Needs legs ;)
-
Agree! Those are really really nice!
-
Very nice pieces.Looking forward to seeing more from you.
-
Excellent work there. The scroll work on the second chest and the objects on the table are very good. Well done...let's see more!
-
I like the table very much. I really like the detail of the pegged joint.
And the second chest is fantastic! I really like the pyramidal nails and the curved metal detail: it looks like Rackham, which is the highest praise I can give anyone! The wood grain is a bit too exaggerated for my taste, but the overall effect works well. Would definitely like to see more of your work.
-
very nicely done antaak! :-*
I'd buy some chest and table especially!
-
looks awesome :D

At this time, I'm seeing if anyone would be interested to buy the greens and produce them.

That's a bundle of lovely wee trinkets! :-* How do you do your square/pyramid rivets?
-
I sculpt each rivet whith a clay shaper and patience!
-
Beautiful work there Antaak! I hope you can find someone who wants to produce them .. you've got skill!
-
Excellent stuff. May be worth contacting Ian at Fenris Games as he sometimes picks sculpts up.
-
Very interesting sculpts, I liked the first chest because it was so drastically different from the normal cookie cutter chest out there. The second one looked amazing, especialy the tiny rivets.
The desk had some great detail work, I hope you find some one to buy your sculpts, I would love to have a chance to purchase a set.
-
I would absolutely buy desks, chests and doors from you. Let us know if you find a buyer willing to produce them. These make lovely dungeon furniture.
-
Totally agree with Doomsdave! Why not make doors/chests of all shapes and sizes with your own cool style/flare. Off of the top of my head, large round doors(like those in Lord of the Rings Hobbit houses), arched iron bound double doors and large wardrobes like something out of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. You've maybe started a really cool line here!!

Thanks all for your comments.
I will tell you if these items are going to be casted by a manufacturer ;)
-
That's OK. They will be casted by Ainsty Castings soon (time for Andy to make the molds).

Lovely sculpt, but I would only buy the door if it didn't have a skull on it.

Excellent news. I anxiously await their release.
-
Cool. I'm definitely picking up some of the chests and the table from Ainsty. More dungeon/fantasy decor would be most welcome so please keep us posted!

Good work! What ever happened to your door mate?
-
No progress on it for now but maybe... one day.
-
It's a shame I could really do with your doors to go with a bundle of buildings I'm making for Andy at Ainsty Castings! :(
-
Ok,I'll see what I can do for that door, soon!
But if you need something special, draw it and send it to me. I will see what I can do.
