Actually, they are supposed to be
1st Squad
1st Platoon
Alpha Company
1st Battalion
1st Marines
FMF
UPF

That's an actual quote from a Master Sergent I knew in the Corps.

I have a soft spot for North Africa, WWII, and those are so nicely done.
