Just stumbled on pictures of a Dragon I painted over a year ago. Wanted to share:

When I saw the topic title I expected the faerie dragon model and not this (huge) guy. Different, but very nice :-*
Is this a Reaper dragon?

This is quite lovely, much better than the fairy thing I was expecting!
Love your creativity.

Gauth!
Oh my goodness.
You need to head over to the Reaper forums and post him there too!

Very, very nice.
Now, butterflies are thought to have evolved eye-shaped markings to fool predators into thinking they were looking at larger animals. That implies some very scary things about what preys on butterfly dragons, and what they are impersonating!

That's what a friend told me, too. I know that but I just had to do something with those huge wings instead of just shading them.

I'm not objecting, just scared of giant shoggoths!

Impressive and really original...fantastic PJ!

Novel - looks very moth like... Given such a scheme implies camouflage I would hate to see the thing that eats dragons for breakfast.
