Title: A Sea creature, a Werewolf and a Gnome walk into a bar...

Just finished a couple of figures, let me know what you think a bit of CC would be appreciated

I'm not sure who put out the sea monster and the werewolf (possibly ral partha?) but the others are all citadel mini's from various ranges.
The Druid/Cleric guy is the one I have a problem with at the moment as I haven't quite got the hang of human flesh so any tips would be much appreciated.
I've got more stuff up on my blog and will be mostly painting old-school citadel mini's in the coming months so if you're after some retro mini's have a look :)

Very nice, ilikepaintinglead!

My favourite of this merry band is the Gnome.
He looks suitably 'grizzled!'

I like the "sea creature". If I recall it's a dopplegagner from someone - I'm sure I have an unpainted one somewhere - makes me want to paint it now.

Nice, A few comments:

Milky white eyes would turn the sea creature from an alien to a proper sea creature IMHO. Rather heavy drybrush work on the werewolf and gnome's beard and your wash on the wizard is a little heavy and the flesh very dark as a result.

Offered in the spirit of advice, nothing else, nice little electic collection.

Cheers

The commander

Nice work. I don't think the flesh tones are too bad at all, they're dark like the rest of your painting style, which creates some good brooding minis.
Love the sea demon, especially the eyes.

Cheers everyone for the compliments and the CC.

@ the Commander thanks for the CC, I think I might give the wolf an all over Devlan mud bath as that usually knocks everything back a touch and takes the edge of dry-brushing. I also need to get a descent light box set up as at the moment as I'm taking pics on my coffee table in the living room and everything doesn't quite look right in comparison to 'real life'.

@Tiki Gamer

Hello, your first miniature I'm still lacking in my collection.  :o
You do not have a second? Can you sell me the miniature?
How much will cost the figure.
Including postage and packing. Pay with Paypal and I live in Germany.

I miss all the old ral partha stuff. The Ravenloft minis are what got me from just 'D&D book nerd' to actual mini collector.

Coming late has the benefit that all the advice & critiques that could come to mind have already been offered. SO...you've done a SPLENDID job on the Little Old Lads...GREAT WORK!

I love your style. The Gnome is superb. The only criticism is don't zoom in so much on the photos. Maybe do a shot of more then one figure in the frame. When you have them so large, all you can see is flaws. I struggle with taking decent pictures on my minis all the time and my biggest problem is seeing a perfectly good miniature blown up to ridiculous proportions. Every brush stroke seems massive and ill placed.
