Well, I have 72 vikings from baueda. 15mm.
They are very cool.
I will start to paint it for playing saga. A skirmish rules.
The problem is the basing, I will use 1:1 but I don't like 2.cm round bases (like games workshop), they are bigger for this figures.
What about using the 2cm hasslefree bases???
I am not going to use coins.
Thanks.
Bye.

As long as basing is standard on both sides, or at least the differences are agreeed upon, basing has no effect in SAGA.
Does that help?

I know it.
The problem is about the size of the bases, because for 15mm, the 2.5cm round bases are big.
I don't know what bases use for thiss cale, I was thinking on 20mm round bases, but I prefeer to listen more ideas ;)
Thanks!

For 15mm models I wouldn't use plastic bases, because they're just too big. I have some 15mm models based on very small washers, but they're just a little too small. Why not go to your nearest DIY shop and see which washers will work for you?
Do you have a particular reason for not wanting to use coins?

I use US pennies for my 15mm stuff:

Works like a dream, and the price is right too!

Because the coins here, have not got a good size for it...its bad :-[

I use 20mm washers from the hardware store. I think they're labelled as 3/8", which refers to the hole in the middle. They attach to magnetic sheets as well, unlike coins.
Khurasan 15mm Exterminators (not really Dark Ages...)

Litko has wooden bases - 15 mm square or there are 3 thicknesses of 20 mm or 3/4 inch (roughly 19 mm?) circles that might be helpful.
Gracias,
