that's the trouble with rubber plastic miniatures. The original sculpts may look very nice but the lose a lot when cast in that material.

Ah now I totally agree with you there, but useable and, I think, quite an interesting thing to re-paint...

Post by: Roebeast45 on January 18, 2008, 03:32:29 AM: It's always struck me as odd that every shoggoth mini seems to have mouths, eyes, tentacles, and claws created all at the same time, like a Swiss Army knife with all of the attachments popped out.

Post by: Doomhippie on January 19, 2008, 06:43:10 PM: Well, I agree with Björn. Furthermore, it looks almost like a mixture of the older GW Chaosspawn and some other models. It shouldn't be that hard to come up with a piece of at least the same quality just rumaging through your bits box.

And that's coming from someone who's mortally afraid of doing anything in the way of sculpting or even converting miniatures.
