The Locals (Artizan and Gringo, sorry, Ged, i would never finish a new army, but at least your figures get to star as the mayor/militia commander/police chief/head whatever and his keen young deputy)

The Cultists (West Wind) with some Perry locals.

Great work, sir. So many really nice aspects to your terrain and figures.
Looks like lots of fun! :-*

Wow!
You seem to have them all gathered. I love that first scene from the Mummy :o
-
Thanks, guys. The scenery is largely PMC or Aquarium stores with some Conflix ruins.
This is only a fraction of where it will go, I just bought a load of 8th Army, LRDG, FFL and DAK from Artizan ( in the Maelstrom sale), the complete range from Blue Moon arrived today and waiting for some more West Wind figures. I also just bought two Egyptian giants from Bezzo and Yankee Pedlar has offered me a pyramid. :D

Hi J,
That's a fine collection ...
... and the ultimate "Chaos in Cairo" in the last phot ;)

Hi H,
Well, it's a start, I have the rest of the cultists on the table now. Should finish them tonight.
I have you to thank for introducing me to the rules, and everyone on the board for the inspiration, especially Tom and Agis for their character cards and the Doc Thompson series at the top of the Pulp site, essential viewing!

Nice. :-*
It looks like you have everything you need to play some really cool CiC games.
Well done!
-
Yes, it looks like you're set for some good fun. Makes me want to get back to my Sons of Ra war band.
-
Sweet looking setup.
Look forward to reading some reports.

:o
Quiet a collection!
Looking good!
:-*
A great range of lovely miniatures and scenery.
Looks like you have things well under control.
(Apart from the still-growing lead pile that a project always seems to create lol)
-
Well, Paul, thanks to people buying my old stuff, I can buy new stuff. :D
-
Great collection! Look forward to some AAR soon!

A few new additions, Ekrem from Artizan and the complete Cultist Warband backed by three pieces of gloriously oversized Egyptian statues that I found in Pets at Home today for less than £20. Just behind them are some undercoated Blue Moon figures and the Artizan FFL and my Royalist ECW army still in a box..............
and EBay furnished this tome for less than £10:

for scenery i suggest you to do a search expedition to you local 1pound stores, using the "scratch-builder double sight" skill you can find real egyptian treasures there
-
Some truly monumental statuery you've got there - but looks spot on.
Where do the ECW fit in to all this Chaos ???

It's not called chaos for nothing ............... :D

Sometimes economic Irregular miniatures offer some surprises, look at right
(http://www.irregularminiatures.co.uk/images6/DSCN0414copy.jpg)
at right 2 variants of C41 Assassin charging with dagger ... just 90p :)
-
:-* Love it!
Cool on the irregulars too!
-
In your photo of your Mummy Warband, can you tell me who makes the bald guy at the front? I want to use him as Imhotep in my game.
-
I bought him painted from YankeePedlar1, give him a PM and ask.

Its a Crocodile Games figure if remember correctly, but will stand corrected DB.
-
Cracking looking stuff John - I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with some of the Blue-Moon bits :)
-
Thanks, will try both options.

Yes it is, mine came with the Ark of the Covenant.
-
Great group of figures. Pet shops are great sources for terrain. Who makes the building with the arched entrance?
I don't think I've seen it before. Good stuff! Richard
-
That is an old Conflix pre-painted building.
-
Ah Chaos in Cairo, one of my favorite wargames.
-
Like this a lot! I hope to be able to go back into the hobby within the next 6 months (I was laid off work last winter and has not had time/money/energy for painting/building/gaming because of job search, job-training projects, etc. since then), as my man-cave in the garage attic is slowly taking shape.
I need to come back here more often to rekindle the spark deep down within me ;)
-
I am keeping a close eye on this project, joroas, as I feel it is inevitable that I will end up in the desert sooner or later with my Strange Aeons project.
Your all-seeing eye for finding scenery pieces is fantastic.
Love the new additions!

The sooner, the better!
And good luck with the job search!

Must get some more shots of my new figures soonish..... :D
