Nice work Valleyboy! An interesting match up,the only two from the Southern Hemisphere!
-
Bet that jungle smells nice Blackwolf ;)
Very clever!

Greetings
Those are again two very interesting sets.
I do like the jungle theme, the austere dusk feeling. Reminds of the uncountable Vietnam movies. Very atmospheric :)
But I like the Polish Winged Husars too. are those from the "By Fire and Sword" Range?
I now what I voted and why.
Thank you
Jo

A very good use of your Thyme in both senses of the word. :D

That's a lovely entry Blackwolf, very atmospheric as usual
Its a pleaseure to be on the same page as you
Southern Hemisphrere match up - are you in OZ?
The winged Hussars are by TAG Jo http://www.theassaultgroup.co.uk/store/home.php?cat=1

Oooh harsh. Two of my favourite painters... :?
Superb composition, storytelling and atmosphere from Oz and just great clean, bright, stylish wargames painting from NZ! And wonderful figures in both entries.

Sure am,in a rather obscure part of NSW too ;)

Both entries are good for different reasons. I like the leopardskin on the Husaria and the style of painting is very good for the figures.
As a photograph, the jungle setting is very effective but personally, it seems that some of the detail cannot be seen because of the very atmosphere that creates the scene.

Great entry yet again Blackwolf, I love your pictures and you have the power to make mere 28mm or 32mm models to look like larger scale museum pieces. The bit robot/suit (AT-43?) is very grimy as well and I love the dirty camo. Those hussars on the other hand are also great, very cool picture and very different in atmosphere.

That's another marvalous shot Blackwolf, you can almost feel the mosquitos ;) Terrific! :-*
Well done on the big lance pennons Valleyboy, ain't those crosses a pain to get right. I did some once and they nearly drove me up the pole ;)
Ace work chaps :-*

Love those VB!

thanks for the positive vibes guys (he says as he gats his ass handed back to him by a 'Stralian )
The more I look at this Blckwolf, the more I think that your figures look like real people because they are so well painted

Cheers mate :) I have always liked your stuff too, subtle and loads of style; one can always recognise a Valleyboy pic :)

What a brilliant picture Blackwolf and some beautiful miniatures. The idea with the “jungle” plants…really inventive! :D
The Polish winged Hussars are also nice!
-
Blackwolf, who makes those figures......?
-
This is my first chance to sit downi and look at this round of the LPL and this is the first entry I open....bam! Two wonderful entries. I' a complete sucker for winged lancers...especially ones that are so well painted.
And as someone mentioned above Black wolf your picture could be a still from a movie...I personally dislike using natural lite for photography...do to its inconsistency....you somehow turn that into an asset! Well done indeed.
Cheers,
Blue
