Both are just painted so beautifully! I love the shadowy staging of the Expedition.
Prof., where are those Dagonesque statues from?

Thanks! They look much better here than in the Monolith catalogue.

Cool Vikings. The adventurers turned out very nicely Alex!
Good luck to both of you!

Both brilliant. Superbly crisp painting Patrick. Are those the Foundry vikings? I really think they're still the best around.
I might have to get some as i've just invested in Saga!
Alex, wonderful storytelling as ever. Kudos :)

I have to ask prof, what is it that is lurking in the dark there? The tusks and what appear to be ears suggest an elephantine creature?
Really its that sense of wonder this creates that makes your piece great.

Prof,
What... were those great pigs?!?

I can't decide which is which. I think I will have to toss a coin.

What a cool concept Prof! When I think of the Roman era, I don't picture small adventurer groups- really clever.
Chambers, I love the clarity of the chainmail and other details, fantastic painting!

The spooky temple scene is just amazing though, swung my vote :)
Prof,

I'm guessing that thing in the dark is having his lunch interrupted lol

Chambers....wow amazing clean painting on those Vikings...makes me want to learn more about this SAGA game.
Prof....well I can't think of another entry in the two LPLs that I have been involved in where not a single figure in the picture is facing the "audience" ! It's amazingly effective at making me want to know what they a looking at. A daring thing to do that works wonderfully.
Thanks guys...this is what the LPL is all about IMO
Cheers,
Blue
