I've received a message from Dwartist that Defiance Games have shipped his Marines today, May 1st 2012. Once I have confirmation of their arrival this will count as our benchmark preorder delivery and prizes will be awarded accordingly.
Sometime soon I'll announce the winner, I think it's going to be the Commander but I'll check, and we can discuss how we're going to get his prizes to him.
Please send your prizes to:
Paul Ward
7 Hipley Street
Old Woking
Surrey GU22 9LQ
United Kingdom
And I'll forward them on as a great big parcel to the commander.
-
Hooah!
Jake

Well, I got the first day of the month correct....just the wrong month! lol
My "pile of lead" is ready to bring forth a prize for the lucky winner.
-
Hookay! Kudos to the happy winner then.
-
I am going to be away over the holiday, but I'll send mine out as soon as I get back. Congrats, Commander!
(And curses!)
-
What's the prize actually? Has the 'pile of metal' been contirbuted by the forum members - if so I'll add something to it (or a painted DG Marine maybe?).
-
I do believe this is the full listing of the "potluck" - it's actually pretty substantive as is:

Doesn't say who contributed what but gives a hint as to how to go about finding out.
And the lucky winner would be Commander Vyper, pending the confirmation of course.
-
Damn that company!
Congratulations, Commander :)
-
Maybe we can run a float on whats in the next edition of 40k in a few months. :D
I think that's pretty well known, and it's very dull.
-
what is it? Spice marines and ?
Their evil twins.
-
Ooh, clever!
-
We have a winner in the arena!!!
:D
Wadda I win? wadda I win?
Sorry been absent building a mahoosive extension to my garage, and a little study/games room of reasonable size, with the same attic space above for the lead mountain. Special space reserved for the prize of course!

Good game! good game!

Assuming UPS is on time, I'll have that box of Defiance Marines on Friday. They should include the coupon for a free pre-order figure as well, which I'll leave in the box for the Commander (as is only fair, I think).
-
How do we get what we owe the Commander to you matakishi?

still waiting....
-
Hmm, there's a potential gremlin in the gears then? :?
Anyway, DG has declared they send all the preorders out (all 997 of them if the memory serves) so Commander should be the winner in any case...
-
I think you are refering to Eureka USA and I am in Australia. At least I hope you are, because otherwise I am going to take a trip into the hellish horrors of zone 2 neat normal manicured suburbia for nothing!
Lol sorry Scurv I was trying to make a funny. I was actually referring to the show Eureka. The series is ending this season unfortunately. That is why I said "shutting down the town" comment. But you are right though, the Eureka I was referring to is in the USA. Sorry for the confusion. Carry on. :-)

My chief minion said my package was mailed -- you will have it as soon as it can wing its way across the Atlantic (and get through British customs). ;)

I'm sorry that I've delayed, but unfortunately I won't be able to mail my end of the bargain (the WW2 BTD minis) until sometime in early August. The Army has had and will continue to have my summer, unfortunately. I just don't want folks to think I'm shirking on my end of the deal; I will get them out as soon as I can!
Regards,
Chuck
