Very nice, both. Crisp and clean Heldrak!

Frank, I was really wondering what you were going to do- I guessed it might be Sudan. I wasn't sure though, as you had already shown several awesome boats already... looks like the Ansar managed to acquire a third! Really nice scene, great work!

Wow...awesomely staged scene, Frank!  My friend is running games based in the Sudan.  I'll have to send this to him to get him inspired to run another scenario...!  Love it.

You haven't had much luck have you Michael  lol
I love those Foundry sea dogs. Amongst my favourite all time figures. And in this entry and your last one, you have done them more than proud.
Wonderful colours too.

Frank. Superlatives are exhausted. Another jaw-dropping piece of miniature storytelling, composition, painting and photography. Nobody does it better. Salutations.

If a man is measured by his foes, I suppose one can hardly complain...  ;)

On the plus side, I've had those Foundry Swashbucklers in the lead mountain for yonks. They were originally intended as an entry for LPL2 (where they would have pulled duty as Conquistadors) and for every LPL since, but I kept bumping them for other teams. It is a relief to finally have them finished. Bless the LPL and all who sail upon her!

I have just painted some of those same Mahdists, but mine aren't a patch on Frank's, sob.

Great minis from both of you,

Frank, you are the master or cinematic shots, I hope to learn a lot from you pics. Thank you.

Lovely entries
Frank in this LPL you've probably had the toughest matches of anybody as befitting the defending champion

Thank you! It was really hard work to build and paint the miniatures and ship and I am glad I could finish them in time.

@Heldrak: Your Sea Dogs are really beautiful, particularly the look of the faces.
