Some lovely old woodelves there, nice paint jobs and very characterful. I had them along time ago, now I wish I hadn't sold them on.
-
I went on a buying spree last year to get back the ones I sold off years ago. There is just nothing like the old Jes Goodwin sculpts.
I wish Otherworld would release more Satyrs. This one is my favorite.

Here's my newest additions. More pics at http://4sparta.blogspot.com/

Hear, Hear! I thoroughly agree. ;)

Another line to the chorus from Jes Goodwin Appreciation Society over here!
Very nice paintjobs on the lot.
I love your choice of autumnal colours.
:-*

Thanks Mason.
I have a tendency toward neutrals and natural colors. I'm trying to break out of that, but it won't be with Wood Elves! :D
-
Going to skip Kublacon and do more fantasy play testing tomorrow with Drew and his Dwarves.
I am almost done with my treekin model and have my Sataur (Satyr Centaur) model on deck next. Once these are done I'll probably add more archers, some cavalry, and maybe a great eagle or griffon.....
Pics to follow tomorrow. Stay tuned!

VERY NICELY PAINTED/BASED pointy Eared Folk! Those that I did are, I hope, still doing their Woodland Thing in my erstwhile AD&D gaming group back on Long Island. Your WONDERFUL Project brings back fond memories of friends & games long gone & played.
-
Thanks DeafNala. I always appreciate your feedback. :)
This morning I'm finishing up a treekin model I'm using as a Brute in my force (think Ogre, Troll, Minotaur level of hurt) and this afternoon I'll be taking photos of our play test with the updated fantasy rules. I'll have them up probably tomorrow.

Really cool, mate. Excellent paintjobs. 8) I agree about the old Jess Goodwin sculpts, I absolutely love 'em!
-
Top job Bob, they look really great!
-
Thanks Phreedh! That's high praise coming from you! My work isn't quite up to your level, but here are a few extras we took yesterday.

Looks awesome. Great selection of minis and nice terrain. Please keep it coming.
-
These look great and I'm saving the pictures for inspiration as I have recently been bitten by the Goodwin Woodelf bug myself.
Cheers,
Blue
-
Thanks Blue. I will be finished with my Centaur conversion to add to this group. I'll post pics soon.

The Equine Guy is REALLY COOL...GREAT conversion work, brushwork, & basing. VERY WELL DONE!
I came across a few old Citadel Wood Elves of the type you're using. If you'd like them, P.M. me your address.
-
Thanks DeafNala! I'll shoot you a PM.

It's a mix. The Centaur is a conversion from a Confrontation figure and a beastman head.
The rest are a mix of old and new wood elves and some satyrs from Reaper and Otherworld.
