Hello all,
Just completed my first contingent of Perry plastics - the excellence of which we're being treated to with Captain Blood's postings.
These are painted as 13th Company for Charles the Bold's army.

Great fun to build and paint - 'nuff said.
Cheers

Wow! Wonderful Simon :-*
The new plastic MMAA look gorgeous. (I think I see a couple of metals in the mix there too?) Love the commander in particular. Great paintwork.
...If I could work out how the hell to comment on your blog (without surrendering all my personal details into the greedy chomping maw of Google - by opening a Google account) I would have done so many times before now :)
Is there a 'how to' guide anywhere?

Outstanding! I've wanted to build a Burgundian army since I first saw one painted on the cover of an early issue of Miniature Wargames. A century ago... ::)

Brilliant work as usual, Simon :)

Stunning work !!!

Wonderful!
They have a very real sense of movement, especially when I crop the top image to remove the front lip of the base. Excellent.

A superb unit! Animation and consistency are top-notch.

Most excellent :-*

Very nice... I wish I could paint horses half as good as yours.

Excellent :)

Yes, they are really great and inspiring. I follow your blog now for a long time - thank you for sharing this eye-candy :-*

Many thanks for the kind comments.
Captain Blood: Afraid I don't think there's a way to comment on Google blogs without signing up :-[

Truly exquisite painting and once more a testament to the superb quality of the Perry miniatures MAA!
I really like the burgundian army on your website. It is beautifully painted, but the thing that, for me, really makes them stand out is the way in which you position them on their bases. It's not just glueing 4/6/8 (or whatever) figures to a piece of plastic, they form a real fighting unit. Especially the Burgundian halberdiers are awesome.

All hail to the king of dynamic basing!
