I have been working on some jungle terrain and here is what I have so far.

looks very nice!  I like the vines.  I guess that's spanish moss?

Yep the vines are Spanish moss which was very cheap at my local craft store.

Is that spanish moss something that will dry up and fall apart?

Spanish Moss is an "air-feeding" plant meaning it does not need to be watered and I think collects its moisture from the air. I've had mine in an open bag for over 5 years and it's still useable.
