I was hoping to catch a game at Historicon next month, but no games are listed. The rules are still on my list to review and perhaps purchase, but tell me...
Why do you like it more than other current F&IW rules? How is M&T exciting, new and different? The cards? Actions?
Thanks

I have only played FIW skirmish using M&T, This Very Ground and the FIW supplement with Rifled and Smooth (from Dadio & Pambio).
But I choose to play M&T as I think it gives more 'period feel' and I love the scenario generator coupled with the 'side-plot' objectives which almost give it a RPG feel.
The mechanics are nothing new really except for the way the card drive mechanism work.
There are some write ups of games and a review on my blogs

Review I did is here

The scenario generator and sub-plots plus random events make the game , also using cards helps keep track of things if you play solo like me.

Hopefully these will be available at Historicon to take a look at as I have some Conquest and Perry Indians, the Crusader Indians are on ntheir way and Galloping Major is making some nice figures.

On Military Matters should have them. $40.

Military Matters - noted and added to shopping list.
I see you are in Michigan, are you coming down to Historicon?
