I've painted up the recent Partizan freebie figure to use in our 1940 Operation Sealion/Pig Who-o-o-o-ey! games. As ever it was designed by Matt, so I'm extraordinarily proud of it/him, as any Dad would be, if not of my painting, which is mediocre at best.

Very nice David, and well done Matt. What parent doesn't love their child to be talented as well as happy and healthy? :)
The only thing wrong with it is that she's smiling.
;)

Nice to see her with a bit of slap on, Prince Philip said she will do :)

She just saw a horse! lol
Nice figure, Dave, but painting Royals will result in you being expelled from the Republican Party............................

Nice job!

How does she relate to the contemporary army though? I suppose you could use her as a figurehead for your troops, but all she'd ultimately do is sit around, wasting everyone's time and resources.
One could almost say she’s a constitutional liability. Perhaps you should elect to find a replacement?
;) :P
You've brought out the details in her face really well, by the way.
-
She could act as a mechanic, which is what she did in the army.

I think the Statham remake was better....................
Here's a still from the Sequel:

Sadly, not any more...................

Of course Chuck Norris would take them both on together.
Now, there's a gay threesome that I really don't want to imagine.
Nice mini, and although I agree that Ms Windsor is not really a smiley type, it's a good likeness otherwise. Shame it isn't available commercially - there is a dearth of figures of women in service uniform (as opposed to lad-mag fantasy versions of uniform). I've got my second conversion of Artizan's not-Sam Stewart figure lined up: it would be good to have some variety.

Sadly, I believe all our senior politicians have less military experience than she does................. and certainly far less than many of her family.

Sadly that is the case with most governments. People who have fought are largely less inclined to send others off to do that, than those who haven't.
I was wondering who sculpted that figure though, I was quite impressed with it. :)

It was sculpted by Matthew Bickley.

Apologies, I should have said, "I had previously been wondering"... I did actually read the OP. :)
I think it is a very well done figure.

That's very nice... that Partizan crowd always seem to do cracking figures don't they?
