I decided I wanted something a bit different and partly inspired by Thunderchickens London and the spate of EotD boards decided to do a more urban orientated board. I am sure the cliches will follow, the hotel, laundry, shops etc. but I decided to start with the back streets so I will need a few more of these.

Good start! Look forward to seeing more super stuff pdq! :-*
-
That's ace. I want bigger pictures or close-ups!
Or alternatively, just send it to me.
-
I like it! Could you show a picture of the side not seen?
-
Brilliant Svennn :-*
Grimm would be proud.
-
Lovely! Very nice work.
Alas, now you needto build a large wrecking ball to knock it down prior to its redevelopment for the Beijing Olympics.
-
Wow, a great start.
Love it. :-*
-
Works for me mate 8)
cheers

Excellent, I can easy imagine Jackie Chan running up that wall :-*
-
Looking good :-*
-
That looks great!
Is the brickwork plastic sheet, or something else?
-
Brilliant Svennn :-*
Grimm would be proud.
Agreed,
and where is Grimm these days?
-
Looking good :-* :-* :-*
Photo missing though. Where is the fourth side?
-
It's not just the design and overall build quality I think is great its the painting too. The brickwork is outstanding which means another visit to Svennn Towers is on the cards for a tutorial. ;)
-
That is amazing, is there anything you can't do?
-
Posting bigger pictures for us, apparently... ;)
-
Finished another one so I can now house a population of six families :)

I go away for a week and this is what you get up to whilst I am way.
It's most certainly peachy.
:D
-
But still no picture of the back side....
and that's not another excuse for Thunderchicken :~}
-
Another lovely build, hat's off!
-
Is that roofing textured plasticard or something you cobbled together yourself? 8)
-
:-* :-* :-*
Lovely!
Missed the first one, first time around, so got spoilt with two of them this time....result!
-
Very nice.
-
Cool! Very nice work!
-
That is very nice work! How did you model the door texture on the second house?
What is "EotD"? Regardless, what setting and rule system do you plan to use them for?
-
that's just lovely that is 8)
-
Cheers chaps :)
WK - bigger pics on the 2nd one just for you. Main roof is card strips and bamboo skewers, wall tops embossed plasticard.
WuZhuiQiu (didnt you have a hit with Devilgate Drive? ;D) EotD is a gothic horror game from Westwind. I will not be using it with these, it was just that folk such as Thunderchicken and Scrapwelder had been showing town layouts and this will be a town too. In China, not London though.
The doors have "granny grating" inserts. Its plastic embroidery sheet cut down into the patterns and glued into holes in the doors.
There is no fourth side lol

Nice effect on the walls old chap. What's next?

Excellent build.

Its been a good while and this is only a crappy phone taken pic but as I have been able to do so little in recent months I wanted to show the latest addition to what will hopefully become my town

Splendid addition Bagovich. :-*
As its Christmas it's not peachy, it's chestnuts. ;)
-
Love it Svennn, especially the door. Any chance that you can tell us how you made it and what of? Love the "gritiness" of these builds and look forward to seeing pics together as your town develops.

Very nice indeed old chap :-*
I'll have to cosmos with brick work next but it's finding the right type :?

That door is cracking!
-
Wonderful door and brick work, and everything!
-
Thanking you
Lon, I got brief access to the laser cutter at work so quickly drew the door and cut it from 5mm acrylic. I did the frame seperately so that I could offset it.
Jimbob, I am doing some rendered ones to match yours :D They are a lot quicker to do as well.
I have a couple more done including an Oshiro one (thank you James) but no camera, come on Santa, so I will post them later
cheers
