Post by: LaserDreamWorks on July 31, 2012, 02:46:33 PM
Greetings,

Laser Dream Works invites your attention to its Kickstarter Project - Run Out the Guns!

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1002529637/run-out-the-guns-0?ref=activity (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1002529637/run-out-the-guns-0?ref=activity)

We are entering our final week and are just under 50% funded.  We are really excited about the opportunity to add the possibility of adding metal casting capabilities to our current laser cutting processes in order to bring the Age of Sail to life in 28mm.

Regards,
Matt Green

Wow...a very cool project with some really cool models.  As an nautical archaeologist working on Lake Champlain I'm excited to see that you have at least one LC vessel in your inventory.  It has been a dream of mine to recreate either the Battle of Valcour Island (1776) or the Battle of Plattsburgh Bay (1814) with miniatures.  With your growing range this may be possible at last.

Good luck with your Kickstarter efforts...I only wish my archaeologist wages allowed me to be a massive funder of yours.

If I can be of any help with researching future vessels from LC or the Great lakes please feel free to drop me a line.

Also you can check out my museums web site...it might have info that is valuable to you
