Title: Free fantasy house. Now two free fantasy houses 03/08/12.
Post by: Erny on August 02, 2012, 01:00:46 PM
After moaning over at the Oldhammer blog about the lack of commercially available old school pen and ink style card houses I resolved to do something about it.  I used to draw my own one off buildings as a kid and thought at the time how cool it would be to print them. So after only a few hours work we get this:

Not a high finish, quite humble beginnings but I really enjoyed drawing it. If you'd like an IP free Oldhammer style house please feel free to have it. To be found here:

There will be more.

Nice one Erny, very much reminds me of the cardbord house from the old Citadel Journal (first one, I think) from about 1985. Mine is long gone, of course, but this looks like it'll make a very nice replacement!

Now I need to find a tower to stick on the side of it!

Built one, quickly using prittstick rather than PVA so it's a bit flakey at the joins; hope you don't mind, but I thought I'd put a pic here:

I have a bit of a soft spot for these olde Skool card buildings.

I think you have captured the style very well.

Lovely little house. I downloaded it. Thanks. Reminds me that i have a huge collection of those card buildings. From Bloodbath at Orc's drift amongst others. Unfortunately they are stored somewhere else and very difficult to get hold off. A case of someone who's gone digital (X-box and such) and can't be bothered to get them from the attic. Ah well, such is life.  :?

I've added another house. Just made it longer but it is different to the first, something completely different next time. Please use as you like. It can be found here:

Very nice Erny! I've been putting a bunch of houses together the last few weeks. Could do with some variety! =)
