This is an announce of our coming small adventuring range, Heroes and Villains (still working title). At the beginning it was actually kind of spin-off of the Post-Apoc range. The original idea was for some post-apoc scientists but we had so much fun creating all the mad doctors and their assistant characters.. The idea was definitely becoming too pulp-ish and we said, fine, let’s make some nice figures for pure adventure games. Just for fun. So we will have some slightly bizarre mad scientists soon. Due to some weapons, details or clothes not all of the figures will be suitable for the 1920-30s. Btw, it was not our intention to place them back in the 1930s or something like that but more through the entire 20th century. We have no plans to make it to an extensive range, there are just some things we wanted to have. Perhaps some of you will like them too. The figures are going to the moulding/casting now and will be available coming autumn as single models or in two-figure-packs. The figures are made by Igor Karpov, but I guess in the meantime I don’t need to mention this as Igor’s style is just unmistakable. Also here he did a fab sculpting job putting lots of character into the figures.
And here the first preview, Dr. Arcadius “Drill” Kometenstein and his faithful assistant Marta “Big Pin” Orlowski!

Great looking figures!

Is that meant to be a needle? :o

More games of "Jurassic Park:Tranquilise the T-Rex" coming soon to a table nearby....

Crazy/excellent ;) :-*
Was Big Marta's previous job artificial insemination at Jurassic Park?
-
Is that meant to be a needle? :o
I could drill that out and replace it with a REAL hypodermic needle! Wouldnt that be a fun surprise for the guys at the game club?
-
Lovely, lovely; haven't placed an order for a while too ;)
-
It looks like you've been reading Girl Genius.
-
These figures look to be the start of something really cool.
-
Cool ;D.
@Prof.Witchheimer
is Marta accident cognate with an actress named Teresa lol lol lol lol lol.
-
Lots and lots of potential miniature goodness in this area. Can't wait to see more.
-
Another assistant, Oleg "Uzi" Zababaiski :)
-
lol nice
-
Now that fella is a 'must have' for my Asylum!
;D
-
Great figures. :D
It'd be nice to see something like this span into the other LAM ranges. Post Apoc/Pulp era, Steam-punk mad scientist/inventor type with assistants and some kind of Alchemist/wizards for Bruegelburg. ;)
-
and some kind of Alchemist/wizards for Bruegelburg. ;)
I would love to have some Alchemists in Bruegelburg. And I think/hope one day the dream is going to come true.
-
Laughed out loud when I saw the pictures. Most excellent.
My only concern is placing a large enough order to make the shipping worthwhile.
-
Gee, thanks for reviving my childhood nightmares with Orlowski!
Cool figures.

Crazy Dietrich, the former assistant of Dr.Kometenstein. He got mad while one of the experiments of the Doctor. It is rumored that actually Dietrich was the experiment..
-
Just taking a closer look at this...

The picture does not zoom in enough, but that necklace he is wearing... does it perchance consist of... teeth??

He looks quite good for VSF... perhaps as a driver for an exotic VSF vehicle
-
Great and absolutely useable for the PA-Range. Can't expect the release date

Brilliant. I need those for my campaign.
-
They really are nifty. The sort of figures you can't resist picking up even though you are never likely to use them in a game.
-
Next one. Frank "Eraser" von Stein!

Exactly what I was thinking, although I can add a few of these to my Asylum of Mad Scientists so I have an excuse to get some... ;D
-
:-* I love this last guy a lot!
Blue
-
Oh dear :(
Hopefully these will get casted up rather quickly so I don't have to drag my order from LAM anymore :-*
-
Great Stuff as usual. Looking forward to the releasedate and your painting, prof.
-
I hope we release them next month. As always, if everything goes right.
-
Not my cup of tea but I have to admit that I'm a Ratnik fanboy. Superb sculpt again. This is going to be another great range :-*
-
Should call the line: Grimm Tales of a Dark Future
-
Arnoldstein is fantastic!
-
How did I miss this thread? Yikes! Some seriously scary minis here...
-
another three members and the group shot of the Team of Madness :) Release this month, in about two weeks. The figures will be available as single Character packs.
Nurse Eva "Blood" Brownizky, Prof. Günther "Rocket" von Donnerhof and another experiment that went wrong - "Zed, just Zed"
-
Some of these guys would be great as lurkers for Strange Aeons!
-
great, just great

My thoughts exactly!
My Mad Asylum is just SCREAMING out for some of these.
;D ;D ;D

Those are lough-out-loud genius. Looks like two packs, or will there be a Deal?
I'm getting them either way, but figured I'd ask.

:)
surely we will have a 10% deal for the whole gang, too.
-
They are great, all of them perfect for both pulp and PA games.
How big the line will become?
-
Not sure yet, first release of these 10 miniatures, later a few additional single figures. If the range runs well, some more would come for sure.
-
These are very, very nice!! I like the wheelchair, plenty of uses for it come to mind!
