Title: The September Campaign v.2 teaser preview
Post by: Anatoli on August 05, 2012, 09:31:17 AM
I've been hinting about this project for a couple of weeks now, I wanted to wait with teasers and such until I had something substantial to show and even more to back it up with.

The Polish OoB is now fully written and I just started writing the Slovak section. Check my blog for full info and more preview pictures.

Estimated release date for the new OoB section featuring Polish, Slovak, German and Soviet lists for 1939 is roughly 6 weeks from now.

looks very good mate. Just out of curiosity- have you been able to get Karas or Los in FoW scale? Same for wz29 armoured cars?

Cheers

Command Decision/True North make the wz.29 but I'm not sure if it actually is modelled correctly with the two MG's it is supposed to have.

Rulewise it has a SA18 37mm gun in the turret, rear turret-mg and a rear hull MG.

I found a manufacturer for the Pzl.23 Karas, in 1/100 scale, miniature looks fantastic - all resin. Emailed the manufacturer (located in the US) but not had any answer yet. Here's his site:

And someone who has painted the Pzl.23 Karas in Romanian colors:

Got a reply from the manufacturer today and ordered the Pzl.23 and some transfers. 30USD incl shipping to Sweden is what I would say a reasonable cost for a unique miniature cast in resin + shipping across the Atlantic.

He also mentioned that he is working on the Pzl11c fighter and the Pzl 37 Los bomber   ;D

Anxiously waiting for the final version. :)
The previous book was amazing, and I'm not even a FoW player...

One comment only - as usual, about the tanks. ;)
From what I've read both 10TP and 14TP were considered light tanks - the 10TP was a fast/cruiser type (strong influence of the Christie tank), while the 14TP was meant to be a light assault tank. What is more, it is possible that the 10TP project was abandoned after its prototype was tested.
The only Polish tank to be considered medium or heavy was the 20/23/25TP, but nobody even knows how it was supposed to look (though there is some speculation).
