I'm looking for some nice models wielding a Dane axe... preferebly useable with GW lord of the ring models...
Any suggestions? Thanks alot!

Conquest's Plastic Norman infantry might be a good fit, but I haven't seen any comparision shots of them next to any other figures.

I'm not sure what a Dane Axe is exactley, but have you looked at Gripping Beast's Viking and Saxon sprues already? They have plenty of Norsemen axes, and are true 25mm, meaning they should fit with LoTR minis nicely.

There are a couple of GB armoured Saxons that would work quite nicely.
cheers

Anything listed by GB as a huscarl in the Anglo-Saxon/Anglo-Dane ranges:

Nice!

Gripping Beast Vikings will do a great job. If you prefer a mix of armoured and armoured, Conquest Games Normans:

Don't know how well they'd stack up with LOTR, but I expect you could email the nice chap that runs it.

I've got a few of these and they are 'kin HUGE! They tower over Black Tree, GB and even Renegade. Agree that he's a very nice man though!
