Title: Gorgon (not)True Grit figures
Post by: Arthur on August 11, 2012, 11:47:38 AM
New form Gorgon Miniatures in the US : some not True Grit (2010 Coen Bros vintage) Wild West mIniatures by Mike Owen. Below are a not Rooster Cogburn and a not Mattie Ross figure, a Texas Ranger bearing a suspicious resemblance to a mustachioed Matt Damon and two n'er-do- wells for them to go after (they'd be Lucky Ned Pepper and Tom Chaney, i guess):

Do they plan to do mounted versions?

If so, they could be very useful indeed!

I actually got an E-Mail from Gorgon that said mounted versions are in the pipeline.

And Crusader already makes the earlier version of Rooster Cogburn.

Cue Harry Hill: "Well, I like Jeff Bridges as Rooster Cogburn; and I like John Wayne as Rooster Cogburn.  But which is better?  There's only one way to find out ..."

Just noticed Johnno's thread about these from a little while ago : I should sometimes check the boards more thoroughly before posting  ::)
