Title: Imperial Russian Observation Balloon units
Post by: drownte on August 13, 2012, 03:19:43 PM
Hello again, I'm doing some fact finding and I need a little help that I think only you fine gentleman can provide. I'm looking for pictures and any information on the Imperial Russian Balloon Corp formed circa 1890ish. They were important enough for them to have their own blue blouse just for Balloon Corp soldiers. Any information on uniforms equipment history and operations would be awesome. I know that the Russians used a number of Balloons in the Russo- Japanese War, and any info on those also would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Here is the first volume of this book. Try to find this book in Western stores. At the very least I can buy it for you in Russia.
