Hello,
I have a bottle of jade green from the Game Colour range, it's pretty new, but seems very very thin and when applied is ridiculously watery. I've spent 10 minutes shaking to no avail. Is this just the bottle I have or is it standard for this colour?
Cheers

I had 6 bottles (whole pack) of the same paint and threw them away. They were grainy and watery = useless

I checked mine and while I didn't test on any actual mini, it seems like all the other Game Colours I've got. Which is to say, perfectly usable.
I must've lucked out with this one apparently.

I have it and I use it for verdigris. I use it as a wash or mix with it with other more consistent colour (GW hawk turquoise often). I pretty like this color.

I've had this problem with a yellow and also with a dark blue, both VGC. I finally opened up one of them to check, and it appeared as if the pigment had just collagulated, leaving the medium around it. When squeezing the bottle, you just remove more of the medium and the pigment stays right where it is.
A found that a telltale sign is not hearing any sloshing of liquid when shaking the bottle. Which is why I always shake a bottle in the store before buying it. Also, if the clot is large enough, you can actually feel it shaking inside of the bottle, and I'd advise to leave it and pick another one instead...
I do suppose though, that opening the bottle (by removing the top nozzle) and stirring/poking the clotted pigment till it breaks up and mixes with the medium again.
It has nothing to do with drying out (there's plenty of medium present), but maybe with aging of the product?

Thanks for the info;
I'll maybe try to remove the cap and see if I can mix it. It's not put me off Vallejo paints too much; they're still pretty amazing, and I'm assuming that I'm more a victim of circumstance here.
Cheers
