My boomtown was booming before I had to move, now it is a project on hold for the time being. Still, I got some images of construction underway. I also have (in various stages of completion) a jail, church, hotel and 2 stores.

Here's a small Bank I made as part of an upcoming cowtown. The building is made from a pressed cardboard box from a hobby store covered in self-adhesive cork.

The Livery is still in progress. It too is pressed cardboard, but with balsa interior and exterior.

Finally I have the frame of a Barber shop, open for business even while the construction progesses. I have a bit more detail stuff to add to this, but it's mostly finished.

All very much cool. More I liked idea of the Hairdressing salon as in the natural town, it is worked in the afternoon, build in the evening. To the author of greater respect.
Would like to see photos of all town.
Best regards.

Thanks, it's a thickish wash allowing some of the cardboard to show through.

I got the idea from watching Deadwood and looking at a lot of photos of western towns. I'll plan on making some tents as well to represent new arrivals and shops that sprout up in a boomtown. I'll try to get some more photos up soon, particularly of the interiors that I am working on.
