Title: A rare Benedictine... (pics now updated)
Post by: Christian on September 03, 2012, 08:49:44 AM
Well, I haven't painted a mini in a while now. I'm a huge fan of the Cadfael series, and in between commissions I made a bit of time to indulge in a bit of fanboy-ism.

So, I tried painting his eyes before the rest of the face. Not sure about the result to be Let me know what you think!

With a bit of atmosphere...

EDIT: If pictures are appearing warped, check back soon as sometimes Photobucket has to implement the changes I make over a period of time. Not sure about this issue, but when I use this particular laptop they come out all wrong.

Nice clean paintjob, the eyes first approach works best for me too.  8)

Yeah, me too. I always do this unless a customer asks me not to!
