Title: Germany's First Ally, short book review

My friend Andreas specifically borrowed me this book for my research on the Slovak army as I was writing my September Campaign book.

By the time I got my hands on this tome I had already fine combed the internet for bits and pieces about the Slovak contribution to the invasion of Poland in 1939 - but I was able to use the book to double check much of the information I had already gathered.

In any case, this book is a great resource on one of the "obscure" armies of WW2 and on which there is extremely little to be found on the internet. It includes a lot of great pictures of the Slovak army and has a nice guide to uniform colors, markings, camo patterns etc.
