Just finished a van to use as a covert ops vehicle for my Flying Squad officers in "Geezers". It can also double as a "Blaggers" get-away vehicle.
It's an old Ford Transit van (Vanguard model) I picked up for £4.00.

Awesome job.
There actually was a Bodgitt & Scarper in the Nottingham Yellow Pages for many years. My favourite now is "Singh Builders - you've tried the cowboys now try the indians"

Amazing work!
It always makes me smile to think of the hours of work & the amount of talent that go into making a shiny pristine vehicle into an old banger.
Especially when the real-life scrotes achieve the same effect effortlessly
Sorted, my son! Get in there!

I love it. Dangit, now I have to go mess with my transit van.

Great looking paintjob!

Thank you all for the comments!
I had a great deal of fun painting this and it gave me an excuse to use some home-made dry transfers.
Some 28mm shop fronts are next on my hit list.........

There's one similar to that (only has a bit more primer grey) parked on my street regularly. beautiful job!

Thats the mutts nuts. Well done my son.

Nice job, so convincing I almost stopped it and gave the driver a ticket. Vanguard also do very nice period Met. Police vehicles like the Triumph PI area car and a wicked Transit station van all in proper 1970's blue, not jam sandwich, well worth getting for this era, and the Killer B woodentops. (uniformed officers).

Amazing job PM. I love the noticeable windshield wiper path. Superb.

Thanks for the comments............... It's strange how many people seem to know a vehicle like this..... there's a guy just down the road from me who's got one in a very similar condition!
