I was keen to get some paint on Otherworld Miniatures new cultists and, having just re-read Robert W Chambers, they had to be yellow!
As the 'madness' lies within the play, I liked the idea of calling then actors rather than cultists.

In hindsight, I think the other Evil High Priest might have been a better option, but there's always next time! I'm thinking of adding a 'militant' wing, maybe using some of Pulp Figures minions?

nice work, the yellow turned out well.

The King in Yellow was magnificent and not just because it was a set of cleverly disguised romance stories. :D
That really is some lovely painting.
And a good idea to have thespians as opposed to cultists, the actual followers of the King in Yellow were mostly unstable recluses from what I recall.

Those minis are cool. I don't think I've ever seen them before.
The paint jobs rock as well of course!

That's good work with that yellow - not too golden.

Painting yellow and getting right is a problem for me.
Love how your's came out.
Very well done.
